“Had to wait nearly 3 weeks for my order only to be told the 2 snakes I ordered were not in stock at your supplier would it not be better to have them in your stock before you advertise them for sale also I cancelled my order a week ago and you still sent the other flys”

Hello As per our email to you, we would like to respond to you regarding this matter please to clarify and hopefully clear up any misunderstanding. Our customer service team has attempted to contact you via phone to discuss this matter further, and we would like to add some comments as we believe the situation may have been misinterpreted. Upon reviewing our records, we have not found any correspondence from you indicating a desire to cancel the order sorry. We are available Monday to Friday during office hours on the phone or email if you would like to check anything or discuss your orders - we will always do our best to help you. The delay in fulfilling your order was specifically due to the snake flies you requested being a special order item, as shown on the site and the cart, that we order specifically for you. Whilst we maintain a large inventory of flies, tying materials, and fly fishing gear, some items are brought in especially for our customers. We placed an order with our supplier for the special order flies, but unfortunately, they did not have them available, and we didn't have an alternative to substitute. This resulted in the necessity of issuing a refund for the snake flies that we were unable to supply. We are sorry for any inconvenience in these flies not being available on this occasion and trust that if we can be of any help to you in the future, you will please let us know. “October 2025 I bought 4 packs of your 2.8mm slotted tungsten beads based on your chart relating bead side to hook size, 12-14 in this case. The beads will not go round the bend of a Hanak H450BL size 14 Jig hook. On examination of the bead the round hole is extremely small, slit looks ok. Furthermore your web site details neither manufacture (Semperfli) or bead count per pack(10). Very disappointing experience and a wasted purchase.”

Hello We have seen both your reviews and are rather concerned. We thank you sincerely for your recent order and we have genuinely tried to contact you via various means to discuss it sadly to no avail. We hope you will pick up this message. May we politely point out and remind you that some of the items you ordered were special order as explained at the time of ordering, in your basket and via email. This means that it is not a 1-2 day delivery from order (the 1-2 days refers to the shipping time with Royal Mail) but we order these items in especially for you and there is a 5-6 working day estimate to get them in from the manufacturer for you. Then we ship. Additionally, we have been in touch with you via email to confirm this. We have not received a reply. We have tried to call you twice to discuss this but our calls go unanswered and there is no option to leave a message. We have emailed you directly today and hope you can pick up your emails so we can discuss this. There are other options open to you regarding these items and if we can chat we update you.
