“Since I started fishing again I have always used The essential fly exclusively for their trout flies. Their tips and videos helped a lot after a break of 20 years, I was a little out of practice and there were new techniques to master. Super quick service and great customer service. “Shipment to Germany arrived we massive delay (> 1 month). I was asked to pay additional fees for customs clearance (13 EUR). As customer service wasn’t able to assist in a timely manner I had to return my order.”

“I have no issue with The Essental Fly in terms of their goods & service. However the order was dispatched on 23rd January & I have not yet received it on 6th February. This is because Essential Fly use Royal Mail which is then delivered in Ireland by An Post. This is a very inefficient way to get goods to Ireland from the UK. I would much prefer that they used another courier !!!”

“My husband was very pleased with the quality of the flies and will order again. However, I ordered these around 8th December and they only arrived last week so we're not impressed either with slow despatch or the use of Royal Mail.”
