“I ordered 2 items then received a message saying I’d been reimbursed for one of them around a week after ordering them. So theoretically you only completed 50% of the order, which then took over 2 weeks to come! I will likely not use your online store again as I don’t order from businesses who advertise products they don’t have in stock, or even worse, can't actually get! I ordered 2 items to help justify the shipping costs which then turned out to be a waste of time. Not happy, Iain”

Hello Mr Gordon We thank you for your recent order and we are sorry to hear you are not happy. I would like to take this opportunity to explain and hopefully reassure you. We carry massive stocks of flies, tying materials, accessories and more. However for some items, as shown on the site and at check out, some items are ordered in specially for our customers. The site does clearly show which products are in stock and those that are special order with a guideline as to the time it will take to bring them in. This is also confirmed for you in our terms. I am very sorry that on this occasion Veniard did not have the special order pheasant tails you wanted. We do rely on our suppliers to get these items to us but unfortunately on this occasion they were not able to. I am pleased though that your purchase of Semperfli Nano Silk collection box was available for you. We do hope that if we can help you in the future you will give us an opportunity to do so. “I have recently found this site and have placed several orders in relation to CDC feathers, barbless hooks in bulk, siliconised poly yarn and Dilly wax . I must say that the service is very good. The quality of all items bought is excellent. It took me a very long time before I found the correct yarn, for me, to use. See the sites notes re this yarn and its history.”
